Now, City Fire Chief Randy Hovind says the closure came after the state's discovery of 24 safety violations in the business. On Jan. 29, a state inspector toured the Broadview's facilities and found 24 violations of varying degrees. The state sent the business a letter a month later listing the violations. A walk-through on March 25 would give a re-inspection to check if necessary improvements had been made...
